The Animalhouse

The Animalhouse are the ones that brought out that fab single Small which
got overplayed on the radio and TFI Friday, and everyone marvelled about
how
they would be destined for great things. Their second single Ready To
Receive, however, was a little more forgettable...



They came on stage, played, but unfortunately didn't capture the hearts
of
the audience. I stood there, hopefully, waiting to get caught up in it all,
but didn't. Some of it sounded a bit Stone Roses, and they bashed away at
the guitars, drums, etc, but to no memorable effect... and they didn't even
play Small....



In an interview a while ago, one of them had described
The Animalhouse as a
collective, rather than a band. He meant that each person of this
collective, contributed their own thing to the music, hence, each of their
songs sounded very different. It's just a shame that none of the songs were
that much cop, eh?
